Three ambulances and one corpse-carrying van handed over in Mangaldai

In view of the availability of only one corpse-carrying van (Swarga Rath) in the district

MANGALDAI: In view of the availability of only one corpse-carrying van (Swarga Rath) in the district and non-availability of ambulances in two hospitals of Mangaldai LAC, legislator Basanta Das on Monday handed over the vehicles to the district administration at a function organized at the conference hall of DC's office. Legislator Das has purchased three ambulances and one Swarga Rath from the MLA local area development fund. These three ambulances will be placed under the management committee of Janaramchowka Model Hospital, Dhula PHC and Mangaldai Civil Hospital. The Swarga Rath will be maintained by the management committee of Mangaldai Civil Hospital.

Darrang Deputy Commissioner Pranab Kumar Sarma, Superintendent of Police Raj Mohan Ray, District Development Commissioner Subhalaxmi Deka attended the function.
