SILCHAR: The outgoing year ended on a tragic note in Cachar on Saturday late night as three young people died in a road accident. The motorbike they were riding lost control and hit a tree, leaving two of them dead on the spot while the other succumbed to injury at Silchar Medical College and Hospital. The tragic incident happened at Ujangram on the Silchar Kalain road at around 11 pm. The deceased have been identified as Akshay Biswas (26), Swapan Das (27) and Kishan Gurung (28).
