Three drown after boat capsizes in Dangori River, Tinsukia

As many as three persons have been feared drowned after a boat carrying 8 passengers capsized in the middle

TINSUKIA: As many as three persons have been feared drowned after a boat carrying 8 passengers capsized in the middle of swirling Dangori River at around 12.30 pm on Friday. 5 other passengers were rescued by the villagers. The missing persons have been identified as Rajkumar Tanti (30) of Tingline Dighaltarang, Rocky Orang (24) of 10 no line Dighaltarang and Lohro Orang (48) of Kherline Dighaltarang of 10 No Line under Baghjan PS in Tinsukia district's Doomdooma Revenue Circle. According to reports, the 8 persons had gone out for fishing in Dangori River which is in high spate. While 5 managed to survice, the other 3 have been swept away by high water current and remained missing till the time of filing of this report.
