Three Held In Connection With Bhangagarh Murder Case

The three accused person were identified as Sahidur Rahman, Hazarat Ali, and Noor Alam. However, police suspecting that more seven persons are involved in the murder case.

Guwahati: Police has arrested three accused persons for there alleged involvement in an alleged murder case of one Bishal Rai in Bhangagarh on Wednesday night.

The three accused person were identified as Sahidur Rahman, Hazarat Ali, and Noor Alam. However, police suspecting that more seven persons are involved in the murder case and investigation is on.
Police said they would be produced before the court on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the body of a young boy was recovered from a drain in Guwahati. According to reports, the throat of the youth was found to be slit when his body was recovered from a drain near Nemcare Hospital in the Bhangagarh area of Guwahati. The body has been identified to be of a 25-year-old boy named Bishal Rai. Bishal Rai's family members claimed that one Saidul was responsible for his death.

The police have made several arrests in connection to the case. However, the matter is still being investigated. In other news, a woman was killed by her ex-husband in a suicide bomb attack in an open market in Mizoram. On Tuesday, the woman identified as 61-year-old Pi Lalthianghlimi was selling vegetables in an open market at Chanmari Veng, near the Hmar People's Convention (HPC) Office.
As per the statements of her daughter who witnessed the whole incident, the ex-husband visited the woman's stall and asked for a local cigarette which the woman prepared and handed over to him. Suddenly the ex-husband pretended to feel unwell and hugged the woman when the bomb suddenly went off. The woman died on the spot but the ex-husband was critically injured and was immediately rushed to the hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries.
