TEZPUR: Three persons lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Sonitpur district on Friday. They have been identified as Budheswar Kalita (70), resident of Kalitagaon, Bihaguri, Guneswari Das (90), resident of Balijan Bengali, Singri and Bamu Das (65), resident of Moila Ali under Doomdooma NPHC in Sonitpur who died at TMCH, taking the death toll to 150 in the district during the second wave of the pandemic. Altogether 9,434 tests were done across the district on Friday out of which 8,828 were RAT and rest RT-PCR and among the new 265 positive cases found, 254 cases were from RAT and 6 from RT-PCR.
