Three patients test COVID-19 positive in Barpeta FAAMCH

Two caesarean patients tested COVID-19 positive in the maternity ward of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College

BARPETA: Two caesarean patients tested COVID-19 positive in the maternity ward of Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospital (FAAMCH) on Tuesday. They are Gitamoni Sutradhar of Kapoha village near Mandia, Baghbar, and Abida Khatun of Kalgachiya.

The two newborn babies tested negative but they have been kepCOVID-19 cases, corona cases in Barpeta, corona cases in assam, covid cases in Assam, COVID-19, COVID-19 positive cases, FAAMCH, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College and Hospitalt in the isolation ward. One operation room was sealed on Tuesday for 24 hours and another alternative operation room has been arranged.

On the other hand, one Alim Sikdar of Malipara, Bahari has also tested positive. He was under treatment in the surgery department of the hospital. The swab tests of all the health workers, nurses and doctors who came in contact with the COVID-19 positive patients were conducted.
