Police have collected crucial evidences which show involvement of wife of accused in disposing dead body and destroying the evidences. From available evidences we have ruled out any possibility of gang rape or involvement of any other person in crime,” shared the top cop.

“The eldest son of the accused however is absconding and we are trying to trace him and would see if he too was involved in perpetrating the crime.”

It is equally noteworthy that the accused Anan Tati in his earlier statements to media at Tinsukia Civil hospital has admitted of having more accomplices with him.
