TINSUKIA: Even after 36-hours of sensational oil theft case that rocked Tinsukia on Sunday night, the Tinsukia police are yet to make any headway in apprehending the culprits even as six oil tankers had been seized from a hideout at Hijuguri on the outskirts of Tinsukia town.
Claiming that all the oil tankers were empty at the time of raid, ASP Asif Ahmed said the thieves involved in pilfering the oil from the tankers fled under the cover of darkness.
