LAKHIMPUR. A total of 32 COVID-19 patients were detected in Lakhimpur district in the last 24 hours. Of them, 20 patients were detected on Sunday.

They have been identified as Rituporna Borah (25) of KB Road, Kesharam Deuri (35) of Saboti Santipur, Atmaram Doom (44), Bhupen Borah (39), Tolan Das (34), Rahim Kardong (28), Ripul Basumatary (30) of 13th APBn of Lilabari, Kushal Borgohain (40) of Gogamukh, Jaysnta Borah (36) of Hawajan, Bhaben Sarmah (48), Sanjib Baruah (40) of Ghahigaon under Dhakuakhana subdivision, Mamoni Saikia (55) of Milan Nagar, Lukumoni Nath (26), Bhanita Saikia Nath (24) Nerson Swargiari (27)of 13th APBn of Lilabari, Bhaben Saikia (60) of Milan Nagar, Rinku Gogoi (32) and Taramai Baruah (49) of Naoboicha Majgaon, Bhaskar Jyoti Sonowal (20) of Boginadi, Maini Hazarika (12) of Telia Gaon.

The patients detected on Monday are Bhagya Dutta (45) of Ward No. 3, Nakari, Hiralal Acharya (57) and Shyam Acharya (14) of Railway Colony, Moupriya Mahanta (8 months) of Ward No. 14, Purna Borah (24) of Hawajan, Guneswari Gogoi (52), Ranjit Gogoi (22) of Gohain Gaon, Debo Prashad Hazarika (22) of Borpothar, Biman Kalita (27) and Abdul Kalam Khan (33) of 13th APBn of Lilabari, Purna Saikia (75) and Arpita Kour (28) of Milan Nagar.

The district administration has declared the area of Milan Nagar with the jurisdiction of Ward No. 10 Gopi Nagar Colony (West) and 13th APBn Camp of Lilabari as containment zones and radius of 500 metre as buffer zones.
