KOKRAJHAR: A three-day training programme on ‘marketing of species’ started from Thursday at Kokrajhar Girls’ College auditorium. The training programme has been organized by the Farmers’ Agri Business Consortium and funded and supported by CCS, National Institute of Agriculture Marketing (NIAM), Rajasthan.
BTC Executive Member (EM) of Agriculture, Ansumwi Khunggur Boro inaugurated the training programme in the presence of a large gathering of participants. Director of Agriculture, BTC M.M. Swargayary, Sheel Biotech Limited, New Delhi, senior manager Subodh Panwar, Farmers’ Agri Business Consortium Manager S.K. Das were among those present on the occasion.
Talking to reporters, Ansumwi Khunggur Boro said the BTC had given much importance and priority to the agriculture sector and laid emphasis on improvement of markets and agriculture business for the benefit of farmers. The EM said the BTC has taken up various programmes for the benefit of farmers.
