Training programme by PN Bank RASETI for SHG members concludes

A six-day residential training programme organized by PN Bank RASETI under DAY-NRLM at United Bank of India’s RSETI

DIBRUGARH: A six-day residential training programme organized by PN Bank RASETI under DAY-NRLM at United Bank of India's RSETI training hall concluded recently. All total 31 participants took part in the training. District Project Manager, ASRLM, Kamal Kanta Gowala and senior journalist I.Ahmed attended the inaugural function as guests of honour. In their respective speech, both Gowala and Ahmed lauded the initiative of the bank for providing training to SHG members for enabling them to pass certificate examination for business correspondents under 'Mission One GP, One BC Sakhi'. They also called upon the participants to avail the opportunity to the full extent and turn the benefits of the training in their practical life as a ladder of success as well as to guide other members of SHGs in achieving the same. Mahua Choudhury and Nafisa Qamar Baruah attended the training programme as resource persons and trained the participants with the active support of Felix Frank, Rosey Dutta and Purabi Deka. Earlier, Director RSETI, Panchami Bora, while welcoming the guests and participants, spoke on all aspects of training and the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India sponsored project under DAY- NRLM.
