Tinsukia: The 15-day self-financed training programme for agricultural input dealers of Tinsukia district organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Tinsukia, concluded on Friday.
The training was aimed at capacity building of input dealers on efficient handling of the agricultural inputs. Senior Scientist and Head (i/c) of KVK, Gayatri.D.Bhuyan welcomed all the guests and participants for the valedictory session and requested all the participants to kindly adhere to the norms during fertilizer application in the field.
The Chief Scientist of Citrus Research Station, Tinsukia, Dr. JP Dutta also addressed the gathering and advised the dealers for providing better need-based service to the farming community. Tapan Neog, SDAO, Department of Agriculture, Tinsukia addressed the dealers and advised them for application of knowledge gained in the training programme in their respective areas and to serve for better growth of the farming community.
Dr. Kripal Borah, Subject matter specialist, Soil Science, was the Course Director of the programme and Priyanka Amonge was the Course Coordinator of the training programme. Certificates were awarded to all trainees.
