TINSUKIA: A two-day training programme on cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants organised by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Tinsukia concluded on Friday. A total of 25 farmers and progressive entrepreneurs attended the programme. Ranjit Kumar Borah, proprietor of Brahmaputra Valley Aromatic Industry inaugurated the training programme virtually on Thursday. He also deliberated on the richness of medicinal and aromatic plants in Northeast India and Assam in particular. Priyajit Chutia of Makum acted as a resource person on the second day. The programme was moderated jointly by scientists Priyanka Amonge and Dr Kripal Borah.
