LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur district unit of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad (AABP) and North Lakhimpur zonal committees paid rich tribute to Parshuram Dubey, the founder president and chief advisor of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad on his 5th death anniversary. On this occasion, a commemorative programme was organized at Sarveshwar Baruah North Lakhimpur Hindi School premises, located at Ward 14 of North Lakhimpur town on Friday.
Members of the organization as well staff of the school lighted the earthen lamp and also offered floral tribute at the portrait of late Parshuram Dubey. Two minute silence was observed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Babudev Pandey, the Lakhimpur district secretary of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad threw light on the life and works of Late Parshuram Dubey. On that occasion, members of the organization distributed reading and materials including books, pen and snacks among the students of the school.
