Tribute to Latiful Pasha

Latiful Pasha, younger son of Dr. Rousan Ara Begum and Late Shah Nawaz Pasha, husband of Runa Choudhury, a resident of Santipur Hill Side, Guwahati left for heavenly above on June 18. He was 42 years.

Born on October, 1980, he had his school and college education at Don Bosco School and Cotton College, Guwahati and passed B.E. from Assam Engineering College, Guwahati with flying colours. He started his service career at Dubai and then joined Tata Projects Limited as Assistant Manager and served for 10 (ten) years and won “Pearl Award” from the company for his service efficiency. He also awarded “Young Engineers’ Award” by Senior Engineers Forum of N.E. Region, Guwahati in 2012. He presented various technical papers in different seminars and twice he won Gold Medal at Rourkela, Odisha in 2011 and 2012 in the seminar organized by Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) for the Quality Improvement Project (QIP).

Till his death he was working in National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (NPCC) as Manager at New Jalpaiguri. He was a young, able and energetic engineer, loved by all for his amicable nature and sincerity. His death is deeply mourned by family members, friends and relatives. Today, on the day of his Challisa, we pray to Almighty for the eternal peace of his departed soul.
