Indian politicians greet everyone Ramadan on Twitter by expressing warm wishes

GUWAHATI: People all over the world are celebrating Ramadan or Ramzan and wishing each other in this holy month.

Meanwhile, politicians took to social media platforms for wishing everyone "Ramadan Mubarak."

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Wednesday extended wishes to the people of India on the occasion of Ramadan (Ramzan) on Twitter.

Indian politician, journalist Ajit Kumar Bhuyan and Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh took to Twitter took to Twitter to greet the people of India Ramadan.

Bhuyan is a member of Rajya Sabha, Assam. In June 2020, he formed a regional political party Anchalik Gana Morcha as its chief convenor. Manipur's Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is a former footballer and journalist.

They took up the social media platform for greeting everyone "Ramadan" and wishes everyone develops perseverance, self-restraint, discipline, unity, and brotherhood.

"Ramadan Mubarak everyone! May this holy month fill your homes with joy and your lives with fulfillment," Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma tweeted.

The holy month of Ramadan or Ramzan has begun yesterday evening, April 13, 2021. During this month, the people from the Muslim community observe fasts from dawn to dusk called "Roza."

As Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, it is considered a holy month that honors the time when Allah, via the angel Gabriel, revealed the first verses of the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, to a caravan trader named Muhammad.

People observe fasting, which is one of the main principles in Islam every day until the day Ramadan ends. They don't drink or eat anything from sunrise to sunset.

People celebrate Ramadan all across the world. This month is celebrated because it was during this time Prophet Muhammad received the revelations via Allah.
