GAURISAGAR: Tulsi plants were distributed at Amguri Town on Monday by Binandia Prakiti: A Journey with green, an NGO of Sivasagar in association with nature conservation. Hori Prasanna Hazarika, a youth leader and social worker of Sivasagar inaugurated it. He highlighted the importance, significance and benefits of Tulsi plant. In the inaugural function, the other dignitaries who attended the function were Anamika Neog Boishya, Chairperson, Amguri Municipality Board, social work Bakul Dey, Dhrubajyoti Kakoti, ASI Amguri PS. The whole programme was initiated by Subhra Jyoti Das, District Coordinator, Binandia Prakiti , Mohendra Nath, Coordinator, social worker Kalyan Gogoi. They also distributed the plants in Sivasagar and Nazira.
