DOOMDOOMA: Two books published by Makum Sakha Xahitya Xabha (MSXX) were released at the Banmali Saikia Bhawan, Makum recently.
Dr Girish Handique, vice-president, Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX) inaugurated the first book Onya Ek Parasuram written by Chandra Kumar Baruah, distinguished writer and president, MSXX, while the other book Sugandhi Bohag - a collection of articles on the Bihu festival - written by noted short-story writer Dr Sunil Borgohain, was released by Mohan Moran, president, Tinsukia Zila Xahitya Xabha(TZXX).
In their inaugural speeches, Dr Girish Handique emphasized reading books while Mohan Moran highly lauded the book publishing activities.
