Kokrajhar: A two-day interdisciplinary national seminar entitled ‘Reconfiguring Indian Culture and Scientific Temperament in the 21st century’ will be held in Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar on January 28 and January 29. It will be organized by the Humanities and Social Sciences Department (HSS) in collaboration with the English Department of Bodoland University. Dr. Tanushree Nayak, Head of the department, is the convener of the seminar. The members of the organizing committee are Dr. Pradip Brahmachary, Bihung Brahma, JDH Basumatary, Dr. Gunajit Sarma and Dr. Kaushik Barman. Prominent academicians like Prof. PC Pattanaik, University of Delhi, Prof. Laishram Ladusingh, Vice-Chancellor, Bodoland University, Prof. Ashok Pattanaik, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Prof. G.Bez, NEHU, Shillong, Prof. Dwijen Sharma, NEHU, Tura campus and Prof. Bhagabat Nayak, Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar will deliver talks in the seminar.
