Tamulpur: Two persons were seriously injured in a road mishap at Dwarkuchi under Tamulpur police station in the district of Baksa on 127(D) Rangia-Tamulpur-Bhutan International Link Road on Friday evening at about 4.45 pm. The accident took place while a motorcycle hit a youth from behind. According to eye witness, one of Dumariya Village under Tamulpur police station, namely Ajmal Haque (24), was returning from Rangia to Tamulpur riding his motorcycle. When Ajmal reached Dwarkuchi, he hit Manan Shill of Dwarkuchi area with his motorcycle while Manan was crossing the road. Both Manan and Ajmal got injured seriously. Local people recovered both Ajmal and Manan in critical condition and shifted them to Rangia for treatment. Getting the information, Rajen Boro, in-charge of Ganfhibari police outpost reached the spot and recovered the motorcycle. Police are investigating the incident for more information.
