BISWANATH CHARIALI: Two persons were killed when lightning struck them in a tea garden at Biswanath Chariali on Tuesday night.
The tragic incident took place at Mahalakshmi Tea Estate under Biswanath Chariali police station. The deceased persons were identified as Anand Khandwal (25) and Ramesh Kar (30). They were reportedly returning home after work when the tragic incident took place.
After getting affected by lightning, local people took them to Biswanath Chariali Civil Hospital. However, the doctors declared them brought dead in the hospital.
