JAGIROAD: Following identification of two more COVID-19 cases, the Morigaon district administration has sealed some villages in Jagiroad. The administration has restricted entry and exit to the villages Chenimari, Bihari bosti, Belguri and Kakorjola under Jagiroad police station. Out of the two new COVID--19 cases, one Fajal Hoque hails from Chenimari village. Morigaon district has been declared under red zone. The DC and SP of Morigaon are reportedly under self isolation after coming in contact with one COVID-19 positive case at Lahorighat. However it is alleged that lock down at Jagiroad town is not properly maintained and also more sanitization is required in Jagiroad town area.
