"At present, reflection of Bodofa's thoughts and selfless love for the community and adherence to his ideology have been observed in the Bodo society. It is a positive sign and it will lead the community to progress and prosperity. We must go ahead with united strength in order to ensure equal development of the community people," Mihiniswar Basumatary added.
He urged upon Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimary to take steps to empower the BKWAC. He further said, "The nominal amount of fund allotted to the BKWAC is not enough to render due development, as expected, among the Bodo community people living in 22 districts of Assam, covering the Barak valley.
