Union Home Minister Amit Shah was accorded a warm welcome at the Dibrugarh Airport

DIBRUGARH: Union Home Minister Amit Shah was accorded a warm welcome at the Dibrugarh Airport on Saturday while he was on his way to Arunachal Pradesh for a two-day visit. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Dibrugarh MP Rameswar Teli, Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Bamang Felix, Assam Tea Tribe and Labour Welfare minister Sanjoy Kishan, Dibrugarh DC Biswajit Pegu, Superintendent of Police Shwetank Mishra welcomed Amit Shah as he landed at the Dibrugarh airport at 11.30am.

He later left for Deomali by helicopter to attend the Golden Jubilee celebration of Ramakrishna Mission Ashram at Narottam Nagar in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district. The Home Minister is scheduled to visit Parshuram Kund later in the day. Shah will attend a public meeting at the multipurpose Community hall ground at Namsai on Sunday followed by an interaction with BRO, NHIDCL, SSB, Assam Rifles, ITBP and Army at the Golden Pagoda Guest house. The Home minister will return to Delhi via Dibrugarh airport on Sunday afternoon.
