KOKRAJHAR: The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) on Sunday warned that the party would move for legal suit against the BPF MCLA from Porbhotjhora constituency for making baseless allegations against Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) CEM Pramod Boro.
Talking to reporters in the party office on Sunday, the secretary of Debargaon Block, UPPL Ashok Goyary said MCLA Moon Moon Brahma, who is also the sister-in-law of BPF president Hagrama Mohilary, alleged that the BTC CEM was taking 25 per cent bribe from contractors. She also alleged that Cash Counting Machine (CCM) was used while taking bribe. He said the allegations of Moon Moon Brahma were totally baseless and politically motivated. He warned that the UPPL would file defamation suit against MCLA Moon Moon Brahma if she failed to show proof within 12 hours. He also said the party would move for legal action on Monday.
