MORIGAON: All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) remembered the martyrs of June 10, 1974 at Bhurbandha in Morigaon on Saturday. AASU paid tribute to the martyrs Putul Saikia and Gajen Ingti at Bhurbandha in Morigaon. The two martyrs Putul Saikia and Gajen Ingti laid down their lives for the food and economy’s movement on June 10 ,1974. Since then the organization has been observing the day as Unity Day.
