UPPL chief Pramod Boro meets family members of deceased senior party leader

KOKRAJHAR: The president of United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) and Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC, Pramod Boro on Wednesday met the family members of Ramesh Narzary, senior UPPL leader who expired on March 27 at his Chechapani residence near Magurmari, Kokrajhar.

Boro expressed his deep condolence and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. He was accompanied by other party leaders and workers. Boro said the party had lost a prominent and hard-working member. He also said Narzary was a sincere and dedicated leader of the party. The UPPL will keep remembering his contributions to the party and the society, he added.

Ramesh Narzary was one of the prominent founding members of the UPPL and a retired employee of NTPC, Bongaigaon, Salakati. He was a prominent social activist and member of the Land Advisory Board, Government of BTR.

Meanwhile, minister UG Brahma also expressed shock over the sudden demise of Narzary and said that Narzary was one of the most prominent members of the UPPL. Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary also expressed sorrow over his demise and said that he was a strong and sincere leader. He said the party had lost a true and honest leader.
