KOKRAJHAR: The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) has undertaken seven years of revolutionary political journey. It was formed on August 5, 2015 at Dotma, the birth place of the Father of the Bodos, Upendra Nath Brahma.
UPPL has decided to celebrate its 7th foundation day with two-day long colourful programmes on August 4 and August 5 to be held at Chandrapara ME School playground in Kokrajhar, BTR. During the celebration, various programmes such as hoisting party flag, homage to martyrs, tree plantation and friendly football match between central committee of UPPL and Kokrajhar district committee and many such activities will be conducted.
Preparation and arrangements got underway to celebrate the foundation day with a colourful programme scheduled at Chandrapara playground. The president of the UPPL and BTC CEM, Pramod Boro, UPPL founder president and minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, UPPL working president and Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary, MLAs, BTR Executive Members, MCLAs of the UPPL party are attending as guests in the event.
