Vaccination camps organized by Marwari Yuva Manch, Jan Sewa

LAKHIMPUR: The Lakhimpur branch of Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) organized a COVID-19 vaccination camp on Friday. The camp was organized at Lakhimpur District Library premises wherein first and second doses of Covishield vaccine were inoculated to a total of 500 people.

All the members of the Lakhimpur branch MYM, led by president Anurag Sandak and secretary Ram Lakhotiya, initiated special attempts to conduct the programme with success. Visiting the camp along with an ADC, Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur, Sumit Sattawan appreciated the organization for initiating the venture in view of combating the COVID-19 pandemic. The president and the secretary of the organization extended thanks to the district administration and all concerned for rendering their cooperation towards conducting the programme successfully. In addition to it, another social organization of the district, Jan Sewa also organized a separate vaccination camp at Sankardev Shishu-Bidya Niketan, North Lakhimpur on the same day. In this camp, a total of 200 people got shot of first and second doses of Covishield vaccine. The Deputy Commissioner of the district visited the camp and appreciated the organization.
