Vice-Chancellor’s Research scholarship from University of Ulster

Max Indu Phukan, an inhabitant of Demow Lakhimi Nagar and son of Mukunda Phukan and Indira Buragohain, is awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s Research Scholarship from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, for a PHD in Swimming Biomechanics, which will start in September 2023.

DEMOW: Max Indu Phukan, an inhabitant of Demow Lakhimi Nagar and son of Mukunda Phukan and Indira Buragohain, is awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s Research Scholarship from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, for a PHD in Swimming Biomechanics, which will start in September 2023. Max Indu Phukan is working as a Technical Officer (Sports Science) at the Institute of Sport, University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Max Indu Phukan had passed his HSLC Examination from St.Mary’s School in the year 2014 and his HS Final Examination from Assam Rifles Public School, Jorhat, in the year 2016. Max Indu Phukan passed his Bachelor in Physical Education (B.Ped) from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior, India, in 2020 and his MSC in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics from Leeds Beckett University, 2022, United Kingdom. Max Indu Phukan, a resident of Demow Lakhimi Nagar, is the first swimmer from Sivasagar District to participate in the National Championship. When this Correspondent contacted Max Indu Phukan on Wednesday night, who lives in the United Kingdom, and asked about what message you would like to give to the new generation, Max Indu Phukan said that you do not have to figure everything out at a young age. But if you have a vision, just make sure you are taking each step that will bring you closer to your goal. What matters is consistency in whatever we do, because life is a marathon, not a sprint.
