Wild boar kills 1, injures 3 in Indo-Bhutan border areas of Udalguri district

TANGLA: The man-elephant conflict-ravaged Indo-Bhutan border areas of Udalguri district has reported an incident of wild boar attack. Reportedly, a wild boar attacked villagers in 1 No. Segunbari under Dimakuchi Police Station in Udalguri district on Saturday evening. The wild boar which is strayed out of Bornadi wildlife sanctuary charged, butted and killed one Samu Munda (40) and critically injured Nisha Kandala, Birsa Hemram and Apastha Toppo while they were on the way to take home their cattle grazing in fields.
