Will be with Congress in BTC by-poll: Naba Sarania

NALBARI: Viewing by-election ahead, APCC president Bhupen Bora met Kokrajhar MP Naba Sarania on Tuesday in Nalbari. In his visit to meet the workers at the grassroots level in Nalbari Rajiv Bhawan, Bhupen Bora said that he needed Naba Sarania's experience in the forthcoming by-elections.

He criticized the BJP government and said that this government in not free from social and religious discrimination. He also claimed that people want a strong opposition and only the Congress can play that role. He further said that the Congress' alliance with the AJP is still under consideration.

After his meeting with the APCC president, Naba Sarania addressed the mediapersons and said that his party would be with the Congress in the by-election in BTC.

He claimed that the Bhabanipur seat would surely go to Congress, and his party would fight the poll with the Congress for establishing the Assamese language in the BTR. Congress MP Abdul Khalek accompanied the APCC president during this visit.
