TINSUKIA: Women’s College, Tinsukia has performed well in the BA and B.Com 6th semester examinations, 2019 of Dibrugarh University, the results of which were declared on Tuesday, with three students securing top positions in three subjects.
Binita Dey, Dona Dey and Nikita Das secured first position in Economics, Philosophy and Bengali subjects respectively, while Archana Kumari secured the second position in Political Science.
Of the 330 girls who appeared in the BA final examinations, 293 cleared with a number of the first class being 110, while in Commerce stream 28 passed out of 33 with 14 securing first class. Three students, Poulomi Mukherjee (Arts), Priyanka Dey and Sarika Chowdhury, both from Commerce, secured first class with distinction. Dr Rajib Bordoloi, Principal of the college, while congratulating the students, expressed satisfaction on the performance.
