Workshop on competitive examination held in Doomdooma College

DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC), Doomdooma College, a workshop on competitive examination was inaugurated at Doomdooma College on Friday.

Jogesh Baruah, a former ACS officer and one of the trainers of the workshop, delivered a lecture on how to crack the competitive examinations. Citing the example of great scientist Albert Einstein, he offered many valuable suggestions to the trainee students. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr PJ Barthakur, Principal, Doomdooma College. In his inaugural speech, he gave an account of the performance of Assam's students in the competitive examinations.

Dr Pranjit Saikia, coordinator, IQAC, said that initially 35 students were selected for training and a minimum fees was fixed for that. Gradually, the next batch of students so selected will be given training. Sandip Banerjee, a research scholar of Assam University, Silchar, and Saurav Kumar Das, a computer teacher of Santiram HS School, Tinsukia, delivered a lecture on the subject through Power Point Presentation (PPP).The training programme will continue for three months.
