A CORRESPONDENT
DIBRUGARH: A two-day workshop on Patenting Innovations and Intellectual Property Rights organized by the Dibrugarh University Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, concluded successfully on Wednesday.
The Patent Information Centre of Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (ASTEC), Govt. of Assam, Guwahati catalyzed and supported the IPR Cell of Dibrugarh University in organizing the workshop.
The inaugural session of the workshop held on March 29, 2022, was chaired by Prof. Dipak Chetia, the chairperson of the IPR Cell. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Prof. LK Nath, the Vice Chancellor i/c of Dibrugarh University. Other dignitaries present in the session were Prof. M.N. Dutta, Dr. Rupam Saikia, Debasish Dutta from ASTEC, Guwahati. The session was attended by the faculty members of the university along with 60 registered participants of the workshop. The valedictory session of the workshop was held on March 30 and Prof. Kalyan Bhuyan, Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the university, was present as the chief guest. The workshop concluded after distribution of certificates to the participants.
