JAMUGURIHAT: A two-day State-level workshop on science writing will be held at Biswanath Chariali on May 15 and May 16.

The workshop will be organized by Akash Vigyan Aru Paribesh Sikshya Kendra, a science-friendly organization of Biswanath. The science writing workshop has been organized to popularize science writing under the Pandit Tirtheswar Sarma Memorial Scheme, one of the popular schemes of the organization. The science writing workshop will be held under the supervision of popular science fiction writer Khiradhar Barua.

Topics, including science fiction writing, life sketches of eminent scientists, science-journalism, science cartoon making etc. will be covered up during the academic session, informed Ripunjay Bordoloi, secretary-cum-convener of the workshop.
