GOALPARA: The Goalpara district recently observed the World Day against Child Labour at the District Child Protection Office in presence of Rituttom Borah, ADC, Uzzal Borah, secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), and many other dignitaries. In the same event, ‘Suroxito Xaishab Sonali Axom’, the State Government’s 90 days’ campaign for child protection and against child abuse was launched.
Mostafa Hussain, DCPO, anchored the programme where Apurba Kumar Das, chairperson of CWC, Paresh Kalita, Joint Director of Health Services and senior advocates Debojit Choudhury, Sohidur Rahman focused on the different aspects of the child protection issue.
