SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Monday registered 174 new COVID-19 cases and registered no death.
Meanwhile, the State also recorded 95 new recovered cases in the last 24 hours.
The tally of active cases has increased to 1,207 the Health Department said in a bulletin. The total number of fatalities from Covid-19 infection stands at 1,490 so far.
East Khasi Hills has the highest number of active cases with 942, West Khasi Hills has 18, East Garo Hills has three, West Garo Hills has 107, Ri-Bhoi has 70, West Jaintia Hills has 24, East Jaintia Hills has 25, South West Khasi Hills has six, South Garo Hills has four, North Garo Hills has four and South West Garo Hills also has four.
