SHILLONG: Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh has informed that almost 85 per cent of MLAs have taken the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves and the general public. "Many of the MLAs have taken the vaccine and right now it comes to around 85 per cent," Metbah Lyngdoh told The Sentinel. "There are some MLAs who have not yet spoken and they might have taken the vaccine at their respective constituencies. The percentage might go up, we will receive more information in the coming days," Lyngdoh said.
