SHILLONG: Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong outrighly stated that the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) can leave the alliance if it is not comfortable. The BJP, with two members in the ruling MDA coalition has been firing on the alleged corruption in the JHADC and GHADC through the RTI acquired recently.

The State BJP is on fire to expose the alleged corruption in the two district councils. It has even demanded an inquiry by the CBI into the anomalies. Interestingly, the Deputy Chief Minister while taking on the BJP grievances, stated, "They can leave the alliance if they are uncomfortable."

"We have been working in alliance in the government, if there are grievances come through proper procedures instead of going through the media", stated Tynsong even as he maintained that everything is less sordid in the coalition government headed by Conrad K Sangma.

Going by the narratives of the BJP State leadership they have up the ante to expose the alleged corruption in the two district councils. The BJP have sought further RTI related to the KHADC.
