SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.

In his Twitter post he tweeted, "I am isolating myself for the required time. I have mild symptoms. All those who came into contact with me last few days are requested to observe their symptoms and test if necessary."

This the second time the Chief Minister has contracted the virus, the first time being last year.

It may be mentioned that Sangma had on Thursday participated in a bilateral border-dispute-related discussion in New Delhi with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
