SHILLONG: One more COVID-19 patient died in Meghalaya, taking the fatality count in the State to 104, while 109 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 801 on Thursday. A total of 60 new recoveries has been reported today, taking total number of recovered patients to 10,074.
Till date, the State has registered 10,979 COVID-19 cases, of which 801 are active and 10,074 have recovered.
Of the 109 new COVID-positive cases, 51 have been reported from East Khasi Hills; 42 from West Garo Hills; four each from RiBhoi and South Garo Hills; three from East GaroHills ; two from East Jaintia Hills ; and one each from North Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills district and West Khasi Hills districts.
Of the 60 recovered cases registered on Thursday, 36 are from East Khasi Hills; nine from West Garo Hills; five from East Garo Hills; four from West Khasi Hills; two each from RiBhoi and South West Garo Hills district; and one each from West Jaintia Hills and South Garo Hills districts.
