SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Thursday registered four more casulaties related to COVID-19, taking the fatality count in the State to 98, while 144 more persons tested positive for COVID-19, taking the number of active cases to 1,045. The State also reported 56 new recoveries during the last 24 hours, taking total number of recovered patients to 9,368, stated the Health department sources.
Of the fatalities reported, two are from West Garo Hills and one each from East Khasi Hills and RiBhoi District.
Till date, the State has registered 10,047 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,045 are active.
