SHILLONG: Meghalaya, on Thursday, registered 576 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 5,574, said the health department in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the State also registered 510 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 60,885.
Meanwhile, the State has registered eight more casualties due to the infections during the last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,133 so far.
