After a few minutes, the troupe left the place in their cars, but while returning back, the miscreants followed them in a car.

"They overtook one of our vehicles and forced us to stop by obstructing the way. Suddenly they started to demand cash from us after a verbal argument. They also took away our cameras which I feel shouldn't have happened. I will never go to such an isolated place again. There was no mobile network. I was so scared," one of the actresses in the music video, Priyanka Saikia was quoted as saying.

Following the incident, the team lodged a complaint at Boko Police Station in Assam. Later, the police launched an investigation regarding the incident and also forwarded the complaint to Nongstoin police.

The artists also appealed to the Meghalaya government to look into such matters so that tourists to the state do not suffer.
