Meghalaya records 3 COVID-19 deaths

SHILLONG: The State on Monday recorded three more COVID-19 fatalities even as the number of new infections is declining. Health authorities informed that of the three deaths, one person was not vaccinated. On Monday, the State recorded 61 new cases and 126 people recovered from the virus. With the latest figures, the State now has 1,438 total deaths, 777 total active cases and 80,799 total recovered cases. Of the 61 new cases, East Khasi Hills district recorded 38, West Khasi Hills district 13, Ri-Bhoi district eight and West Jaintia Hills district two.
