SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Monday recorded three COVID fatalities and 305 fresh cases while 434 people recovered from the virus. Health authorities informed that of the three people who died, two had not been vaccinated.

With the latest figures, the State now has 1,281 total deaths, 2,930 active cases and 69,859 have so far recovered from the virus. The three deaths were recorded from East Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills districts. Of the 305 new cases, East Khasi Hills district recorded 138, Ri-Bhoi district 105, South West Khasi Hills district 37, West Jaintia Hills district 19, West Khasi Hills district five and South West Garo Hills district one.
