SHILLONG: The West Garo Hills-based Ringgi Demdema Organic Farmer Producer Company (FPC), which specializes in fresh and organic produce, has announced the beginning of its season-long sale for Kew Pineapples.

An inaugural shipment of 12 MT (Metric Tonnes) of Kew pineapples from Chibinang to Varanasi was successfully delivered, representing the growth of the company's distribution network.

Taking on twitter, CM Conrad Sangma announced that, “Ringgi Demdema Organic FPC from West Garo Hills has just launched its season sale for Kew Pineapples! An initial consignment of 12 MT was sent from Chibinang to Varanasi. More and more institutional buyers and partners like @DeHaatTM are being connected with Farmers and Farmers groups! #OrganicMeghalaya”
