The Deputy Chief Minister made the announcement after a memorandum was earlier submitted by the Diengiei Dorbar Area.
“It’s a valid demand by the dorbar to construct a road connecting Umlyngka, Upper Shillong to Diengiei area. Hence we will send officers from the PWD department to survey the road soon,” Prestone said.
The memorandum was submitted by the president of Diengiei Dorbar area Sibret Mawlong to the Deputy Chief Minister.
