AIZAWL: Serchhip Battalion of 23 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) conducted an awareness lecture on snake bite and first aid at Thingsai village of Hnahthial district on Tuesday with the aim to educate children and villagers about preventive measures to be taken on being bitten by a snake. The importance of medical assistance in case of snake bite was emphasized and explained to avoid any untimely casualty in the village, stated a press release.
